This little thing was found at a convenience store in Tulsa, Oklahoma recently. The finder kept her for 10 days to see if the owner would show up, but no one did. She’s about 2-3 months old and her first vet visit is March 23rd. We named her Rose. She will be ready for adoption in a few weeks. Welcome to the Russell Rescue family Rose! We are going to find you the perfect home!
Our little senior boy Carl, had his vet visit last week. He had a senior blood panel, a urinalysis, and a fecal. Now we know why he’s so thin. He has coccidia. His intestinal tract is just not healthy. Plus, he has hookworms. He is on several medications and we expect a full recovery! And what a good boy!!!! He let the vet do everything, including looking in his mouth, without a single word of protest. He has a follow up on March 21st. Stay tuned for more updates on Carl.
Andrew is a little gentleman that we adopted out about 12 years ago. His owner can no longer care for him so we are taking over. He is easy-going and gentle natured and would love a soft place to land. He is being fostered in Dallas, Texas.
Say hello to Carl! He was picked up as a stray and taken to a shelter in the Austin, Texas area recently. We “sprung” him on Saturday, the 25th. He’s very thin and needs to gain some weight. Other than that, we don’t know much about him, but his foster is learning. We do know that Carl is 11 years old. Stay tuned for updates. Princess was tossed out of a car. To Russell Rescue, Inc. she is not trash! She is a little treasure and is living the good life in Magnolia/Houston, Texas now at her foster home. We think she is about a year old and only weighs about 14 pounds. She has been vaccinated and has tested negative for heartworms. As soon as she is spayed, she will be ready for adoption and to find her forever home! Welcome to the Russell Rescue family Princess!
A Courageous Cassie Update!
Cassie and her little family are now in Cotulla,Texas. The Weslaco fosters did an outstanding job of bathing and getting them to the vet for a wellness exam. Everyone was pronounced healthy! The puppies are approximately 5 weeks old. They are eating, playing, and sleeping. There are 2 boys and 4 girls. Check back in a few days for another update.

Sweet little Kimma lost her way. A Good Samaritan picked her up and now she is being cared for by a foster with Russell Rescue, Inc. in the San Antonio, Texas area.
